There are times when you want to create a Barchart summary schedule in a different template for presentation or meeting purposes.
Creating a bar chart schedule summary for reporting purposes does not always have to be done in project management software.
You can create a customizable bar chart (as you wish) in Excel, which may not be possible in Primavera or Microsoft Project.
Usually, you do this to show a certain activity you want to highlight so that you can give a certain remark or explanation to your boss or to your client.
